Raised by a single father who was a musician and gaining a love of musical instruments as a result.
It's never easy only having one parent but Zac managed the best he could with what he had and only ending up with a small sense of pride in being alone. So much in fact he preferred to be alone all during his school career at every possible instant, but inevitably having to put up with people where he could and always having a plastic smile across his face when being talked to by those he considers a threat to his peaceful solidarity.
As he entered his high school years he found a love for a old metal lighter he discovered one walk. The prospect of flame and fire catching his attention almost as much as the sound of a wonderfully made or repaired instrument. Sad thing is he never refills it, keeping it more as a symbol of what fire is...but just because it's empty doesn't mean that when he has something on his mind the cap won't come off and his thumb with give it a satisfying "flick".
