They say the colour of depression is blue,
Don't believe that.. its a lie
Depression is black,
a black abyss that swallows you hole
a constant walking through that tunnel
with no light at the end of it

The colour of depression is Red
Anger at how others always seem to be having a better day
how everyone else is happy,
how they complain about petty problems
when you are drowning in emotion

The colour of depression is black
Its walking alone, always alone
its watching Friends turning into strangers
and feeling every word spoken is an attack

The colour of depression is red,
its pick at the scabs on your legs
till they bleed and bleed.
Its biting at your nails till you have none,
and biting the skin off your fingers.

The colour of depression is black.
Its crying your heart out alone,
and being called unmanly for the tears.
Its Swinging from darkness to bright light.
the constant swinging of moods,
depressed to manically happy
again and again and again.

Depression is impossible to explain,
To you lucky ones who have not bourne its pain.
Depression is terrifying,
because simple pills dont work for me
and itsgoing to stay with me my whole life.
Depression is diagnosed, and inherited.

Depression is going through Doctor after doctor
and loosing faith as they all move on or give up.
Its trying all kinds of pills,
that make either no difference or make everything worse.
its loosing all hope and falling down with noone to pick you back up.

Depression is untrustingness, betrayal and loss.
