Personality:
Innocent – Unlike his name Suggests, Cerberus is very innocent in the ways of the world despite what he’s been through being abandoned he still is a firm believer that there's good in the world and that there is a god. He finds it difficult to recognize other dogs as being threats as he’s never had a negative experience with one, often believing lies and not recognizing sarcasm very easily. Complex things like two canines not getting along confuse him as he believes that everybody can get along if they try their best and that things will generally turn out pretty okay.
Playful – Playing is one of his favourite past times even more so if he can get others to join in with him, playing in leaves, puddles snow nothing really gets in the way of him having a good time. What he wants most in the world is a ball for him to bat around and chase but as it's unlikely, he’s going to get that he makes do with trying to get the adults around him to play. Although sometimes getting boisterous he’s always careful not to get too rough having been taught by his mother that one must always be gentle in play as it wasn’t fun for others if they get hurt.
Generous – To a fault, Cerberus is generous he’d give the last scrap of prey and shelter he owned to help out another in need, this comes to him naturally as he picked up this trait from his father. Even to the worst enemy, he’d be generous enough to provide them with what they needed, without even thinking of the consequences, enough that he’d share his prey with anyone despite rules about outsiders.
Sweet – Every single hair on this dog is filled with sweet, thinking of others and bringing them things to try and cheer them up as well as trying to help them out although the results of the attempt can be rather questionable. An example would be he’d bring some dry leaves to an unwell pack member, as he loves crinkling leaves and listening to the noise he makes, it doesn’t really occur to him that others might not be so impressed but he does his best.
Forrest Gump Smarts – Even to someone completely blind its obvious that this particular canine isn’t exactly Stephen Hawking, he’s very simple and often doesn’t read others well and misses out on some of the inflection of what they mean. So he works out the world as makes sense to him and his low iq, often times this is different to everybody else’s view point but there is a logic to what he does if one looks close enough. Muddling on at his own speed he wouldn’t hurt a fly but is wanting to make a special friend that’s always there for him despite his bad points of which he’s actually painfully aware of, however, he often chooses not to think about the bad things focusing on the here and now.
Forgetful – The good news is he has a better memory that Dory, yet not really an accurate one, he can be told to do something march off to do it only to be distracted by something else and forgetting his original mission. Distractions range from wind change to a distant noise that’s of interest, to remembers others names he has to associate something with their face, sometimes rhymes help him to remember a chain of commands. Occasionally this isn’t enough and he forgets things anyway, getting faces and names all mixed up.
Clumsy – His biggest downfall over his low intelligence and forgetfulness is the undoubtable fact that he’s clumsy, unable to walk quietly even if he tries he’s never going to be the best hunter. Tripping over himself or other things even as an adult more times than not he’s going to end up eating grass due to not looking where he’s putting his paws. The clumsiness is endearing, he doesn’t really get angry at himself over clumsiness just accepting it as who he is, picking himself up, dusting himself off and taking off again. What upsets him is when others get frustrated or exasperated with him, like he’s trying to do this on purpose when that’s exactly the opposite.

Likes: Playing with leaves, cuddles, making new friends, splashing in puddles

Fears: Abandonment, not being good enough, that he is really stupid

Additions
History: The uniquely coloured puppy was originally dropped off at the local shelter due to them believing his coat was unlucky because of how bizarre it was. Bought just before Christmas as a little girls birthday present and renamed Spot, he ended up being dumped in Sinkhole pack territory no longer needed as she was bought a pony by her father. Before he was abandoned he was lucky enough to make friends with Dark Forest Pet and the pair spent a large amount of time together since they were similar in nature, he has no idea where his best friend is gone and so is keeping a hopeful eye out for him. It was the Dark Forest Puppet master who rechristened him Cerberus, in hope that least a tough sounding name might keep the puppy safe out in the big wide world.

Friends: Cerby makes friends easily and gives them 110% of everything that he has, all he wants in life is to spend time with these special canines and play with them. He gets very upset when they’re upset as he wants nothing more than for them to be happy. Occasionally his low intelligence means he’s easily manipulated which means sometimes he thinks someone is his friend when reality they’re not

Acquaintances: eager and friendly towards acquaintances it wouldn’t occur to him to be anything but himself, trying to initiate play and to see if they’ll become one of his newest friends. Unable to walk away from them if they’re clearly upset or hurt he’d do the best that he can to fix whats wrong even if its something he can’t fix he’ll try anyway.

Strangers: Super duper friendly to these canines strangers quickly become acquaintances and friends thanks to his happy go lucky friendly personality. Unfortunately, he’s prone to mis reading others body language and sometimes this can get him in hot water with others that don’t actually want to have anything to do with him, however, once they’re blunt he backs right off.

Enemies: enemies are something that are very very rare for this sweetheart, an enemy is someone that has unforgivably hurt someone Cerberus cares an awful lot about. In most circumstances, he wants to make friends to get them to apologize so everything can go back to rosy and happy. Not particularly that good at being scary or mad in the right circumstance he will puff himself up and attack this however is a rare occurrence.
